Baptism

Baptism is a public declaration of an inward commitment to Jesus Christ. It’s a way for believers to share with their church community that they have received salvation and chosen to follow Jesus as their personal Lord and Savior. Baptism doesn’t save us, but it is a powerful step of obedience that celebrates the new life we have in Him.

Baptism is a powerful symbol of the gospel at work in a believer’s life. As someone is lowered into the water, it represents dying and being buried with Christ; as they rise again, it reflects the new life we receive through His resurrection. Baptism is a public declaration that a person has trusted in Jesus for salvation and is choosing to follow Him as their Lord and Savior.
